Some key results of the 2020 census - as reported by The New York Times:
Hispanics accounted for about half the country’s growth over the past decade, up by about 23 percent. The Asian population grew faster than expected — up by about 36 percent, a rise that made up nearly a fifth of the country’s total. Nearly one in four Americans now identifies as either Hispanic or Asian. The Black population grew by 6 percent, an increase that represented about a tenth of the country’s growth. Americans who identified as non-Hispanic and more than one race rose the fastest, jumping to 13.5 million from 6 million.Meanwhile, the white population, in absolute numbers, declined for the first time in the history of the country.
If we continue on this course America will lose its white majority by 2050.
I feel this is somehing to revel - not to be fearful of.
But today's situation in America is that there are many who do not want this to happen, and they are taking action against it. These include people from all walks of life and of all races. Their commonality is they want white domination in America to continue. As I see it, these people can be binned into 3 groups:
Sadly, those in categories (2) and (3) are taking immoral and evil actions to try insure that white domination does not come to an end. Actions such as: reducing immigration of non-whites; putting up barriers to voter turnout by non-whites, promulgating untruths in media and in social media. And they are playing on the fears of those in group (1) and misleading them to get them to go along with with these actions.
On top of this, the national republican party, a party that has been dying over the last 20 years as the baby boomer generation is fading, has aligned itself with groups (2) and (3) in a desperate attempt to retain their influence and power. This is sick. And it a big part of what is tearing our country apart.
It's high time that we, republicans and democrats alike, open our eyes to what is really the core cause of our current social discord. We need to turn away from this immoral and evil pathway.
After all, America's founding principles are as strong and sound as they ever were. The shift away from white majority control is not something in itself that threatens our continued existence as a great country and as a great culture and society. The thing that does threaten us is the divisiveness that is currently being pushed by people in positions of power due to white privilege, by hard core racists and haters, and by the national republican party's alignment with those groups.
Come on you republicans - change yourselves, and change your party. Move away from this evildoing and whrongheadedness!
And to the democrats who see others who are only fearful of change, as being racist, change your selves too! Don't be baited into fights that only further divide us.

(1) people who fear change and/or who fear that our American society and culture will go into decline if whites no longer dominate [80%]
(2) people in positions of white privilege (some of our politicians, business owners, professionals, workers) who might lose their positions if whites no longer dominate. [15%]
(3) extremisists - hard core racists and haters [5%]
