A huge fire completely engulfed this tower block in the early hours of Wednesday morning. At time of writing 12 are confirmed dead.
There has been speculation about the cause and the people I heard talked about a fridge exploding on the 4th floor. The recent cladding is thought to have enabled the fire to rapidly spread up the outside though obviously it's too early to point fingers. A proper investigation will be carried out which I am sure will result in changes. One change that must happen is the ridiculous "stay in side" instruction. The theory being that in most cases a fire will be put before it spreads too far so it's better to stay in a sealed room than everyone attempt to move through smokey corridors and stair cases. They say if it is a big fire like this then an instruction will be given to evacuate. In a noisy fire with power cut I guess they will have to shout pretty damn loud!. My advice to anyone is to get out as fast as possible the second you hear of any fire in your building.
To the false flaggers - You are the lowest life form on this planet. You spend your sad existence telling lies about dead and injured people as well as our brave emergency teams. You have zero evidence and feed from other equally pathetic people.
