The acting and script are not great but are OK. The special effects are good. The story line is above average. The science fiction concepts were excellent and were quite well expressed.
The movie is not cluttered with junk science or weak ideas made up for
entertainment value or for "expanding the audience". The science fiction is very plausible. For someone with an appreciation of today's computer technologies, its easy to imagine that the science fiction of this movie could in the next 20 years become science fact (just as have Star Trek communicators, geo-syncronous communication satellites, self driving automobiles, hang-on-the-wall 60" TVs, autonomous robots that traverse Earth's oceans...)
I enjoyed this movie and will likely see it again before it leaves the
theaters.
