Nice climbing rocks in a remote area. Its about a 55 mile drive from Corning. And then a 40 minute hike. In the Tioga State Forest in PA.
From the intersection of 287 with US Rt 6, drive west 13.2 miles. There will be a canoe rental place on the left. Turn right and drive 5.8 miles north. You'll see a Blue Rock Run trailhead sign on the left. Parts of the trail are soggy at times so waterproof hiking boots are not a bad idea. After 20 to 30 minutes of hiking you'll come to a stream flowing from the left. Continue to follow the trail, cross the stream and climb up the other side of the stream's gulch. About 200 yds ahead the trail takes a left turn and heads up a steep hill. The trail continues to be marked with red paint blazings on on trees every few hundred feet. After about 15 minutes of uphill hiking you'll come to the top where there is a nice camping spot. Continue on the trail and go downhill a bit and you'll come to the rocks.
There are bolted anchors on several of the rocks. The highest climb is maybe 30 ft. There are maybe 3 or 4 others that are 20ft or higher.
