Remember 4 years ago when Barack Obama made Hillary Clinton his Secretary of State? Could he do something similar for the guy he just defeated in the general election?
Before falling on the floor with laughter, just think about it for a minute. Mitt Romney has both political and business experience. He's proven himself reasonably capable in both. And he has shown some ability in getting Democrats and Republicans to cooperate with one-another.
At one point in the presidential campaign Obama proposed creating a new secretary of business cabinet post - a position that could be a perfect fit for Romney. Read more on this here.
Or maybe a cabinet position of "Chief Mediator" could be created. Romney's first assignment in that role could be to get the Republicans and Democrats to sit down together and develop legislation to avoid the fiscal cliff...
